The Savill Garden and Thames Cruise
The Savill Garden and French Brothers are extending an invitation to GTO readers to spend the day with them enjoying the beautiful Royal Garden near to Windsor Castle with a hot lunch, followed by a cruise on the Thames with cream tea.
|Wednesday 8th May|
|10.00am||Arrive at The Savill Building, the visitor and welcome centre for the garden.|
|10.00am to 12.15pm||Visit The Savill Garden with a tour led by the Head Gardener, John Anderson|
|12.30pm to 2.15pm||Hot Lunch at The Savill Garden Kitchen.|
|2.15pm||Depart The Savill Garden in a coach.|
|2.30pm||Arrive French Brothers.|
|2.45pm||River Cruise through Windsor with views of the castle and enjoy a delicious cream tea, courtesy of French Brothers.|
|4.45pm||Depart French Brothers and return to The Savill Building.|
The afternoon cruise with French Brothers will include a commentary about the sights you will be able to see from the river including views of the Castle and its grounds. A delicious cream tea will be served during the cruise. This exclusive day will take place on Wednesday 8th May and is for GTOs who would like to organise a similar day for their group.
How to apply
The Royal Garden and a Cruise on the Thames Readers’ Event is open to genuine GTOs looking to bring a group back to The Savill Garden and to cruise with French Brothers in the future. GTOs may apply for a maximum of two tickets, and there are up to 30 places in total.
To apply tick the relevant box on our Free Readers Response Service by 12th April 2019.
Successful applicants will be advised by 23rd April. Failure to advise us of cancellations will result in exclusion from future Reader’s Events.
