Waddesdon Manor

The group teams from Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire and Waddesdon Manor in Buckinghamshire have joined together with GTO Magazine to invite you on a special readers’ day to explore these two historic houses on Wednesday 19th September.

During the day, readers will find out the latest information about what’s on offer for groups at these two outstanding and culturally important houses, and how visits can be tailor-made to suit the interests of your group.

At Blenheim Palace, the birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill, you will be amongst the first to experience the the new multi-media audio guides, which will immerse you in the history of this beautiful Baroque Palace and UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Meanwhile, at Waddesdon Manor, the French renaissance style chateau built for Baron Ferdinand de Rothschild in the 1870s, your visit will include a self guided tour of the House and you will be given the latest information on festive visits at Christmas time.

The trip begins at 9:30am and will also include a two course lunch and afternoon tea. The day will finish at about 5pm.
