Daish’s top class breaks!

Allan and Fay Scott took 49 members of The New Club, Wheatley Oxfordshire, on a four-night break at Daish’s Hotel Shanklin, Isle of Wight earlier this year. They report back.

‘After a comfortable trip down to Portsmouth on one of Daish’s own coaches and the ferry crossing to the Isle of Wight, we were greeted at the hotel by the Shanklin team.

The hotel was superb and spotlessly clean with first class bedrooms and a lovely restaurant and food. Gordon was our host for each evening’s entertainment, which included live shows and bingo – we are pleased to divulge that £887.50 was won by our party over four nights!

A day trip to Osborne House (pictured left) – the home of Queen Victoria – was available on one day, followed by a visit to the Garlic Farm in Newchurch, the Donkey Sanctuary and Craft House on another.

This was the seventh Daish’s holiday we have been on, and our eighth to Barrowfield Hotel in Newquay will be followed by a Tinsel and Turkey break in December at staying at Bournemouth Sands in Bournemouth.

We’d like to say a big thank you to the Group Booking team, especially Shelly, who looks after us well. Well done Daish’s!’
