Attend the opening night of The Light in the Piazza
Readers are invited to attend the opening night of the London premiere of Tony-winning musical, The Light in the Piazza, taking place at the Southbank Centre’s Royal Festival Hall on Friday 14th June.
The new production about the life-changing thrill of first love will feature Tony Award nominee Renee Fleming, and Disney film and television superstar Dove Cameron, both making their West End debuts. They will be accompanied by the outstanding 40-piece orchestra of Opera North. The production is running for only four weeks. The evening begins at 6.30pm.
The musical traces the story of American Margaret Johnson and her daughter Clara taking in the wonders of Florence in 1953, and follows the romantic love affair of Clara with local dream boy Fabrizio Naccarelli.
